Our Mission Statement was written by our employees in 1995. It was updated in 2022 to reflect the growth and expansion of our services through the years.

of PSC Group

We are a team of skilled people working together to provide a variety of services to the petroleum, chemical, and marine transportation industries.

We are leaders in tankering barges, operating terminals and docks, railcar repair and switching, sustainability, warehousing, and loading/unloading of railcars and trucks with a variety of oil products and chemicals.

Our mission is simply to BE THE BEST at what we do.

We also aspire to be recognized as the best. We will apply hard work, intelligence, and integrity toward a goal of continuously improving our work quality, safety, environmental performance, and customer satisfaction.

We believe that if we do these things, our company will continue to enjoy healthy growth. This will in turn create opportunities for employees to advance and achieve the recognition and personal fulfillment they seek. Adam Gilmore

Petroleum Service Corporation
Senior Vice President of Operations

Adam joined PSC in June 2014 as the Vice President of Operational Excellence, after a 17-year career with NASA in Houston, Texas. During his time with NASA, Adam progressed through a variety of engineering and management positions, playing a key role in developing commercial spaceflight capability for the Los Angeles-based SpaceX program.

In early 2019, Adam was promoted to Senior Vice President of Operations, with responsibility for managing our plant and marine operations company-wide. He is also responsible for developing and maintaining an organization-wide culture of continuous improvement, through incident and risk management, operational training, and safety initiatives.

A native of Ohio, Adam received a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University. He also holds an MBA from Rice University. Adam and his wife Sabrina live in Houston with their four children.
