BenefitsPSC offers a variety of benefits to help employees and their families maintain health and well-being, save money, and better prepare for the future.
Unless stated otherwise, regular full-time employees (working 30 or more hours a week) are eligible for benefits the first day of the month following 30 days from date of hire (inclusive of hire date). Examples: hired February 1, eligible April 1; hired May 1, eligible June 1; hired May 16, eligible July 1.

Paid Time Off
PSC provides full-time employees with paid time off for vacation. Holiday benefits vary by work group, job classification, and per customer contracts.

Three medical insurance options are available, and PSC pays a large portion of the premiums. Employees also have the option of adding affordable dental and vision insurance.
This convenient, confidential service gives employees and dependents (enrolled in one of our medical plans) access to a doctor 24/7 by video, chat or phone for a variety of common health conditions.
PSC provides no cost life insurance equal to 1x the employee’s annual base salary. Supplemental life insurance plans are also available (via payroll deduction) for employees and their dependents.
Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance
PSC provides a benefit equal to the employee’s base salary up to $500,000, as well as a supplemental AD&D plan.
Employee Assistance Program
Employees and their household members have 24/7 access to experienced licensed counselors, legal and financial advisers, and other information resources to help in reaching personal and professional goals, managing daily stress, and developing fulfilling relationships. The services are offered at no cost and remain confidential.
Long-Term Disability benefits are provided at no cost, to replace 60% of an employee’s annual income in the event of a long-term disability. For employees with at least one year of service, PSC provides a base short-term disability (STD) benefit equal to 60% of the salary, not to exceed $400 per week. Employees may buy-up on this benefit, up to 60% of salary. Employees with less than one year of service have the option to purchase STD coverage.
Matching 401(k) Plan
To assist employees in preparing for retirement, PSC offers a matching 401(k) plan to regular full-time and part-time employees beginning on the first of the month following three months from the date of hire. PSC matches dollar for dollar on the first 4% contributed by the employee and 50 cents on the dollar for the next 2%.
